Painting is my voice, my art is my story.  It is not only  a visual record, but an emotional reaction to the elements around me.  Stopping to paint a scene allows me to become a part of it, to hear it, see it, smell it, feel it and to react to it.  It is the process of painting that gives me joy, lets me learn and give back.
