Service Description

This three-day workshop will focus on the outdoor sketch – a key to understanding light and color. Fran will emphasize learning to see like an artist and how to simplify the scene. We will concentrate on shapes and values and the principles necessary to quickly and accurately capture the light and color. The workshop is designed to encourage artists at all levels to attain greater mastery of their painting skills. Fran will review the basics of solid design and composition, color, values, edges and paint application.
